Beware when paying your BT bill:

unless you are paying by direct debit
BT will screw you for an extra 4.50 for paying by cheque,
apparently it costs them 4.50 to process a cheque!

You can avoid this charge by signing up to pay by direct debit.

I will avoid this charge in future by signing up
with an alternative provider of phone services.

If you are paying by cheque you can save postage by paying your bill at the Post Office.
